Risks and Discomfort.

• You will experience a slight pinch at the sight of blood collection and there is a potential for bruising as well.
• Numbing cream is used prior to treatment, but you may also experience slight discomfort during treatment.
• Bruising may also occur at treatment sites which may cause pain post treatment, and the use of paracetamol (if required) will help with the pain.
• Smokers have less positive response to the treatment than non-smokers.
